Blockchain Forensics
Blockchain forensics involves a variety of practices used to find, track, and trace the origins and destinations of cryptocurrency by assessing blockchain transaction data. A critical aspect of blockchain forensics is being able to assess the nature of which entities are likely to control and/or own that cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency Tracking and Tracing
Our tracking can lead to us discovering where the proceeds from a cryptocurrency wallet ended up. This could mean identifying new locations of where those proceeds are now, or identifying services and entities that the cryptocurrency was sent to, including cryptocurrency exchanges, payment processors, and OTC/P2P traders for example.
Bitcoin (BTC) & Ethereum (ETH)
Other less widespread cryptocurrencies
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs)
